1. QuickTime for Windows v2.1 or later is required for this program to work properly. Version 2.1.2 is included on this CD-ROM and will be installed automatically if you are running an older version of QuickTime on your machine.
2. We recommend setting your monitor to 256 or thousands of colors. Setting your monitor control panel to millions of colors may affect performance.
3. Clicking the mouse button during the splash movie will exit the movie.
4. You sign onto the program so that it may track which lessons you have visited. At the Sign-on you will be asked to enter your name, and whether or not you are saving your tracking information to a diskette or to the hard drive. If you are using a diskette and are on a Microsoft Windows-based platform, the disk MUST be pre-formatted for Windows, have at least 50 Kbytes free and reside in drive A: before you proceed with the Sign-on.
5. If you receive a "-49 Unable to open Main.dir" error during program launch, restarting Windows will correct the problem.

2. Turn Virtual Memory off. Having Virtual Memory on increases the likelihood of a system crash.
3. At least 8 MB of AVAILABLE RAM is required for this program to work properly. We recommend turning off unnecessary extensions and closing other open applications in order to free up memory before starting the program.
4. Some users may need to turn off Modern Memory Manager in the memory control panel for proper operation.
5. Make sure that 32-bit addressing is turned on.
6. We recommend setting your display to 256 or thousands of colors; millions of colors may degrade performance and/or result in incorrect display of attribute colors.
7. You sign onto the program so that it may track which lessons you have visited. At the Sign-on you will be asked to enter your name and whether or not you are saving your tracking information to a diskette or to the hard drive. If you are using a diskette, it MUST be pre-formatted for Macintosh, named "Micro", have at least 50 Kbytes free and be in the drive before you proceed with the Sign-on.
